Indiana DNR officers find body in Logansport river, no foul play suspected
LOGANSPORT, Ind. — An investigation is underway after a male was found dead in a river in Logansport Tuesday morning.
According to the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, DNR officers were called around 9:30 a.m. to investigate the area around Eel River near Patriot Park in Logansport. The DNR said officers arrived and observed the body of an unidentified male who was recovered from about a foot of water.
At this time, the DNR said officers do not suspect foul play played a role in the death. The investigation remains active.
