86th King Gabriel’s Parade and Lafayette Mardi Gras Festival Parade in Downtown Lafayette
LAFAYETTE, La (KLFY) — It’s Mardi Gras, and although the weather caused some parades to start earlier than usual or be canceled, it didn’t stop parade-goers from having a good time.
Despite the weather, parade-goers are here celebrating King Gabriel’s Parade and the Lafayette Mardi Gras Festival Parade.
Even with heavy winds, an overcast, and some rain, people are still out and about celebrating the 86th King Gabriel’s Parade. Parade-goers shared their excitement for Mardi Gras and attending the parades. Overall celebrating Mardi Gras, rain or shine, is an Acadiana good time.
