Crescent City cruises to 75-48 win over Westminster Christian in playoff opener

METAIRIE, La. — The top-seeded Crescent City Pios defeated No. 16 Westminster Christian, 75-48 Monday afternoon in the second round of the Division IV Select playoffs.

Junior guard Dwight Magee was terrific, with 20 of his game-high 24 points in the first half of the Pios’ win.

Cam’Ron James finished with 14 points while Isiah Stevens followed with 11 points.

Crescent City advances to the quarterfinal round where they will face the winner of tonight’s game between No. 8 MLK Charter and No. 9 Central Private.
