FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A puppy was rescued Friday after it and its family were discovered living inside of a Fresno County hill, Cal Fire said.
According to firefighters, the dogs made a home by burrowing a tunnel system in the side of a dirt hill.
With a little ingenuity and teamwork, crews say Fresno County Engine 90, Rescue 87 and Fresno Humane Animal Services were able to rescue to small dog and reunite it with its family.

The rescued puppy, its three siblings and mother will all be available for adoption. Anyone interested in adopting is asked to reach out to Fresno Humane Animal Services.
