Vehicle crashes into water behind levee in Pointe Coupee Parish
BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Emergency responders are currently on the scene after a vehicle went into the water behind the levee in Morganza on Saturday.
According to the Pointe Coupee Parish Fire Districts, divers are working to perform any necessary rescue operation. Local law enforcement is also on the scene to secure the area and ensure the public’s safety.
