A chilly start for tomorrow morning with readings in the mid-upper 40s. We’ll warm into the upper 60s to lower 70s tomorrow afternoon.
Lundi gras will feature warm temperatures and increasing clouds. Highs will be in the upper 70s. An isolated shower or two could be possible, but the majority of the rain will hold off until Tuesday.
For Fat Tuesday, an upper-level trough is going to approach the area, along with an area of low pressure. This low pressure approaching the area will increase the pressure gradient, which in turn will increase wind speeds. Surface winds could be sustain in the 20-30 mph range with gusts of 35-45 mph possible! The storms will roll in through the afternoon and early evening hours. With the amount of wind shear and instability in the atmosphere, severe weather could be possible as well, especially for areas north of us. A front will move through the area late Tuesday.
Behind the front, highs in the upper 60s next Wednesday and Thursday. Morning starts Thursday and Friday in the mid-upper 40s. Sunshine will return for both Wednesday and Thursday of next week.
