Man accused of photographing woman in dressing room turns himself in

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A man sought by authorities for photographing a woman in a dressing room at a local retail store last month turned himself in Friday morning, officials said.

According to the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office, the incident happened on Jan. 30, when a deputy responded to a report of a “suspicious person” who was secretly taking photos of a woman at a store on SE 82nd Avenue & SE Sunnyside Blvd.

CCSO said the woman told the deputy she was changing in a fitting room when she noticed a bag on the floor with a hole cut in it and a camera lens visible from inside.

The woman claimed that a man in the dressing room next door — identified as 41-year-old Jordan Keith Harris — was operating the camera and taking pictures of her while she was changing, authorities said.

According to CCSO, the woman confronted Harris outside the dressing room, then took photos of him as he exited the store.

Late Friday morning, Harris was arrested after turning himself into the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office.

He was booked into the Clackamas County Jail on a charge of first-degree invasion of personal privacy.

As authorities believe there may be additional victims, anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office.
