I-70 westbound reopens near Greenfield

HANCOCK COUNTY, Ind. — A Friday morning crash closed part of I-70 near Greenfield.

According to the Indiana Department of Transportation, the crash happened on I-70 westbound near mile marker 104 just west of the Greenfield exit.

Hancock County dispatchers said a semi truck ended up in a ditch. All westbound lanes closed so a wrecker could pull the semi out.

By 5:44 a.m., only the right lane was closed and traffic could get around on the left.

INDOT said all lanes reopened just before 6:40 a.m.
