Husband accused of wife’s murder in their Beaverton home

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – Authorities in Beaverton have identified the suspect and victim of a murder investigation as a husband and wife.

Marina Dy, 83, was found dead inside the couple’s home on SW Steele Way during a welfare check on Feb. 27, according to Beaverton police. Officials said her husband, 76-year-old Joselito Dy, was arrested as the primary suspect.

The husband currently faces charges of murder and unlawful use of a weapon. He is expected to appear in court for the first time on Friday.

An investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information about this case is encouraged to contact Beaverton police.
