According to the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office, the woman was driving a 2000 Ford Van eastbound in the 15200 block of Kishwaukee Valley Road around 4:18 p.m. when she failed to stop for a 2022 Chevrolet Equinox that was waiting to make a left turn into a driveway.
Authorities said after smashing into the Equinox, the Ford continued into the westbound lane and struck a 2019 Honda CRV head-on.
