Original Story:
IDAHO FALLS — Police are looking for an 18-year-old who went missing after leaving for a church youth group meeting.
Cassandra Wheeler left a home on Halsey Street in Idaho Falls on Feb. 18, supposedly heading for mutual, an LDS church youth group meeting. She hasn’t been heard from since.
Wheeler is 5’6″ with blue eyes and shoulder-length hair.
She was last seen carrying two blankets and wearing blue jeans with a gray and black checkered jacket.
Her family says Wheeler has “mental disabilities that prevent her from thinking clearly and interacting like an adult in many ways.” She also is on the autism spectrum.
