Men enter Shreveport western apparel shop empty handed, leave with merchandise sought by SPD

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – Shreveport police are asking the public to help identify two men whose love of western wear has them in hot water because they were too excited to stop at the register.

Police say that on February 7, 2025, two men, described as “horse thieves,” were caught on store surveillance on Youree Drive entering empty-handed and exiting with about $1,400 worth of merchandise.

SPD asks that anyone who knows these western wear bandits contact them at 318-673-7300 or Caddo Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373. Tips can be provided anonymously.
