$3 million lottery ticket sold in Pennsylvania

(WHTM) — A winning Pennsylvania Lottery ticket worth $3 million was sold in Jefferson County.

A $3 million-winning “The Hunt for $3,00,000” Scratch-Off ticket was sold at a Uni-Mart in Punxsutawney. The Pennsylvania Lottery retailer will receive a $10,00 bonus for the sale.

The Hunt for $3,000,000 game offers top prizes of $3 million. Players can learn more about the game by visiting the lottery website.

According to the PA Lottery, winning scratch-off tickets are distributed at random and are set to expire one year after the game’s end-sale date.

PA Lottery says all lottery prizes worth more than $5,000 are subject to applicable withholding.
