Man, woman pushed onto Blue Line tracks on Northwest Side

CHICAGO — A man and a woman were pushed onto Blue Line tracks on the Northwest Side early Wednesday morning.

Just before 3 a.m., a 51-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman were involved in an altercation with a male suspect while on the train platform at the Harlem Blue Line, located in the 5500 block of North Harlem.

Police believe both the man and the woman were pushed onto the tracks by the male.

They were transported to Resurrection Hospital in good condition.

The male suspect was arrested and charges are pending.
