Louisiana Hooters locations not affected by possible bankruptcy

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Hooters of Louisiana has reassured customers and employees that the recent news about Hooters of America, LLC (HOA) does not affect them. Despite rumors of a potential bankruptcy by HOA, Hooters of Louisiana said it remains a separate entity and continues to thrive.

The first Hooters opened in Clearwater, Florida, in 1983. It brought Buffalo-style chicken wings to a national crowd. Since then, Hooters expanded to 36 states and over 10 countries worldwide.

“We will continue to provide our loyal customers with the hospitality and service they deserve. Thanks to our great customers, employees, and Alumni, we’ve been an industry icon and look forward to serving Louisiana for another 34 years,” Hooters of Louisiana Vice President Greg Gibson said.
