According to the City of Kerman, officials will break ground on Hart Ranch Community Park at 13840 W. California Ave. on March 5 in the morning.
Officials say the new 15.6-acre park will provide an array of experiences for the community including:
“After 24 years of commitment, dedication, and hard work to bring this project to life, it is exciting to be breaking ground on Hart Ranch Community Park,” said Community Services Director Theresa Johnson.
The city states the idea of the Hart Ranch Community Park came from community meetings in the early 2000s. And after a land donation from Earl and Janice Giacolini, the vision began coming to life.
The city says the $14,200,000 is funded by the California Natural Resource Agency, the Land and Water Conservation Fund, the American Rescue Plan Act, Senator Anna M. Caballero, Senate District 14, and City of Kerman Measure M dollars.
