Widespread dense fog this morning, sunny and warm today

A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect for Acadiana until 10:00 am as visibility is at 1/4 of a mile or less for the entire area. Besides the fog, conditions are chilly outside with temperatures in the mid to upper 40s. A foggy and chilly morning will be followed by a sunny and warmer afternoon as highs reach the lower 70s. More dense fog is possible tonight as lows return to the 40s.

Temperatures are expected to stay consistent and “spring-like” over the next week. A few showers are possible on Thursday. Rain chances are looking higher early next week and could bring impacts to Lundi and Mardi Gras.
