The home on the 1000 block of Poplar Street went up in flames just before 5:30 a.m. Saturday.
First responders arrived on scene and the home was so heavily involved and spread so quickly, fire fighters began attacking from the exterior and also implemented aerial attacks, but the home was a total loss.
No injuries were reported and damages are currently estimated at $100,000.
The investigation is ongoing, and no further information is available at this time.
