Reward offered after reported burglary of firearms at Muncie Rural King

MUNCIE, Ind. — The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, along with the National Shooting Sports Foundation, are offering a reward after an individual reportedly stole several firearms from a Muncie Rural King location.

According to a news release from the bureau, a reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information leading to the identification and arrest of the individual who reportedly robbed the Rural King location.

On Feb. 19, the release said that an individual entered the business, located at 4000 W. Bethel Ave. in Muncie, and stole several firearms. The release said that the burglary is being investigated by ATF’s Columbus field division and the Muncie Police Department.

Anyone with information on this incident are asked to call the bureau at 1-888-ATF-TIPS, or (888) 283-8477. Individuals can also contact the bureau through its website or email ATFTips@atf.gov.
