Police released security camera footage of two of the cases. The most recent happened on Saturday, Feb. 22, in the 300 block of South Alexander Street. The video shows a burglary suspect walking down the street with a white sedan behind him. Police say five or more people used the car that night to burglarize at least one car.
Earlier in the week, on Tuesday, Feb. 18, police say more than seven cars were burglarized in the 200 block of North Murat Street. Security camera footage from that scene shows two suspects walking down the street and smashing windows on cars. Police say an iPad, Del Computer and someone’s house keys were taken.
The two crime scenes are just a few blocks apart. Police say the suspects are believed to be responsible for even more car burglaries in the Mid-City neighborhood. To see the latest Wheel of Justice report, including the security camera footage, watch the video at the top of this story.
