BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Funeral arrangements have been announced for the Southern University football safeties coach Sean Wallace, who passed away on Thursday, Feb. 20.
According to a social media post, the Wallace Foundation is hosting a celebration to honor the life, legacy and impact of coach Sean Wallace on Friday, Feb. 28.
Wallace was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in October 2023.
The service is scheduled to start promptly at 10 a.m. in the F.G. Clark Activity Center, 801 Harding Boulevard.
Public viewing is set for 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. An Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Memorial Service will be at 9:30 a.m.
Only entrances A, B, C, O, P and N of the mini dome will be used. There will not be a viewing after the service.
