Body found in Provo shed, investigation underway

PROVO, Utah (ABC4) — Officials with the Provo Police Department confirmed that a body was found in a shed on Sunday afternoon.

Officers were called to a welfare check around 4:30 p.m. on Sunday when they discovered the body in a shed, according to a spokesperson with Provo PD. Officers were responding to an area around 750 West and Heather Lane.

Officials did not provide any additional information about the identity of the victim. ABC4.com is working to learn more about the situation.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing. There is no further information at this time.
