Stand-up Comedian Josh Johnson to perform in Shreveport

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS)—Josh Johnson, an Emmy-nominated writer, stand-up comedian, correspondent on The Daily Show, and Louisiana native is bringing “The Flowers Tour” to Shreveport in March.

Johnson’s “The Flowers Tour” started on January 31st and runs until the end of June. With over four million social media followers, many shows have sold out, prompting him to add more dates to meet demand.

According to his website, the NAACP award-winner first debuted NBC’s The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon in 2017. Johnson’s most recent stand-up special, Josh Johnson: Up Here Killing Myself,

premiered on Peacock earlier this year to rave reviews touting Josh as a “naturally gifted storyteller.”

Johnson’s is slated to perform in Shreveport on Saturday, March 29, at the Strand Theatre, 619 Louisiana Avenue.

According to the Strand, tickets range between $42 – $62. Johnson’s show starts at 7 p.m.

His most popular set on YouTube is Johnson explaining the drama between Drake and Kendrick Lamar, which has amassed more than 7.8 million views in less than eight months.

According to Johnson’s website, his next show following Shreveport is in New Orleans on Sunday, March 30th.
