7-year-old Livingston Parish girl launches viral mermaid-themed crypto coin

LIVINGSTON PARISH, La (Louisiana First) — Seven-year-old Rowyn Guillory is making waves in the world of cryptocurrency, proving that big ideas can come from even the youngest minds.

What began as a fun, bonding activity with her father on a rare snowy day in Louisiana has turned into a full-fledged project capturing the attention of the crypto community.

A lover of mermaids and art, Rowyn never imagined her creativity would lead her to become one of the youngest crypto creators.

“What I love about drawing is bringing my imagination to life,” Rowyn said.

In January, Rowyn and her father, Logan Guillory, began “playing crypto” simply as a way to spend quality time together.

“It was just something for us to spend some time together,” Logan said.

But what started as a simple experiment quickly turned into something real: a mermaid-themed meme coin called Heart Sparkle Mermaid. The coin quickly gained traction, even reaching a 1.2 million market cap at one point.

“I drew a picture, and Daddy made it come to life,” Rowyn said.

The coin has skyrocketed online, earning Rowyn recognition as one of the youngest developers in the space.

“This is crazy! They’re calling her the youngest developer on Twitter and everything,” said Gabrielle Settoon, reacting to the growing buzz surrounding Rowyn’s creation.

For Rowyn, however, the coin is more than just numbers. It’s about spreading kindness.

“Well, what she’s doing is spreading kindness and love and helping people with her coins,” Gabrielle said.

And Rowyn isn’t stopping there. She’s expanding her creativity beyond crypto.

“What’s next? I’m releasing a book and starting a YouTube channel!” she said.

Her upcoming book, “Heart Sparkle Mermaid: The Birthday Wish”, will soon be available on Amazon, bringing her vision to life in a new way.
