Indiana Conservation Officers assist with Kentucky flooding

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — 16 Indiana conservation officers are returning home after going to Kentucky to assist with flooding.

A release obtained by Eyewitness News says water rescue teams aided Kentucky law enforcement in southeast Kentucky.

Two teams were tasked with search and rescue missions, welfare checks and delivery of food, water, fuel and generators to the flooded areas that were not accessible due to roadways and bridges being covered by floodwater.
