Six OFD members deployed to eastern Kentucky for flooding assistance

HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) – Six Owensboro Fire Department members went from western to eastern Kentucky to assist with search and rescue operations following flooding throughout the area.

OFD says this was at the request of Kentucky Emergency Management.

Officials state members are in Martin County and assisting with evacuations of residents located near the Big Sandy River.
