BRANDON, Miss. (WJTV) – A woman was killed during an 18-wheeler crash in Brandon.

The crash occurred in the westbound lanes of Interstate 20 at Exit 56 around 2:30 a.m. on Friday, February 21.

Brandon Police Chief Joseph French said when officers arrived at the scene, they found the vehicle flipped onto its side in the median.

The driver of the vehicle, Jerri Hawkins, of Forrest City, Arkansas, died from injuries she sustained during the crash.
