Wind chills are back in the teens across Acadiana this Friday morning. Similar to yesterday, conditions stay cold and breezy through the afternoon with highs reaching near 47° as clouds increase. Wind chills will stay in the 30s during the second half of the day as northeasterly winds gust over 20 mph. A heard freeze is not expected tonight.
Cold and cloudy weather continues this weekend but with increasing rain chances. Scattered showers become likely by Saturday evening followed by widespread showers that could last through much of Sunday. Severe weather is not expected but heavier bouts of rain are possible, especially on Sunday. Much of the area may receive 1″ to 3″ inches of rain by the end of the weekend.
