HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Attorney General Russell Coleman, in partnership with the University of Kentucky, the University of Louisville and Western Kentucky University, launched Kentucky’s first statewide youth drug prevention program, “Better Without It,” on February 19.
AG Coleman’s office says this initiative aims to “empower young people across the Commonwealth and promote a drug-free future.” Last September, the Kentucky Opioid Abatement Advisory Commission unanimously approved AG Coleman’s two-year, $3.6 million proposal to establish the youth education campaign.
According to officials with his office, “Better Without It” will engage with young Kentuckians where they are, including on social media, streaming platforms, college campuses and through partnerships with influencers.
