By rssfeeds-admin DESOTO PARISH, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – The DeSoto Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating what caused the death of a woman found in a ditch on Wednesday morning.
According to DPSO, around 7:17 a.m. on Wednesday, February 19, deputies were called to Highway 84 East within Mansfield city limits. When they arrived, deputies found a deceased woman in a ditch.
The woman is white and is believed to be in her 50s or 60s. Her body was sent for an autopsy, and at this time, DPSO does not consider the woman’s death to be a result of foul play.
The sheriff’s office will not publicly identify the woman until her family has been notified. This is an ongoing investigation.
