Jefferson Parish bus services changes for 2025 Mardi Gras season
JEFFERSON PARISH, La. (WGNO) — The countdown to Mardi Gras is on, and as Jefferson Parish prepares, parish officials have announced some changes to its bus services.
Parish officials said the changes are being made due to the Mardi Gras season and will be in effect until March 4.
Veterans Boulevard Parades on Sunday, Feb. 16 through Tuesday, March 4
“E1 will detour from Veterans/Clearview to City Park Avenue. The last Veterans stop will be Veterans at Clearview and detour to I-10. The E1 will then exit I-10 at City Park Avenue. The next pickup will begin at I-10 at RTA 27 and 45, and resume regular route to Canal at City Park Avenue. From New Orleans to the Airport, the last pickup will be Canal at City Park, detour to I-10 and exit I-10 at Clearview. The next pickup will be Veterans at Clearview and continue to the airport.”

Parish officials said E2 will detour at Tulane and S. Claiborne, where the last drop-off and pickup will be. The route will then head back toward Tulane, going toward Kenner then returning to its normal route.
E3 – Jefferson Highway
Lundi Gras in Kenner on Monday, March 3, 2025
E3 to S. Claiborne and S. Carrollton, the last pick-up will be at Jefferson Highway at Maria, then take a detour on Daniel Street to Kenner Avenue, to Clay Street, heading back to Jefferson Highway then back to the normal route. From Jefferson Highway to Coleman Place, the last pick-up will be at Jefferson Highway at Webster, then take a detour on Clay Street, heading to Kenner Avenue to Daniel Street, to 3rd Street, then back to the normal route.

Krewe of Isis in Kenner on Saturday, March 1, 2025
E201 to the Airport, will take a detour at West Esplanade and Williams. Parish officials said the last pick-up will be at West Esplanade and Williams to Veterans before heading to the Airport, then back to the normal route.
Lundi Gras in Kenner – Monday, March 3, 2025
From E201 to Rivertown, the last pick-up and drop-off will be at Williams at Kenner Avenue. There will be no service to Rivertown during celebrations. Parish officials said the bus will turn right on Kenner Avenue, to Hollandey to Airline Highway, then back to the normal route.

Parish officials said the last pick-up will be Poydras at Baronne, then detour to Baronne Street, then head to the Wilty Terminal if Poydras Street is blocked.
The Mystic Krewe of Music and the Krewe of Nandi in Marrero on Monday, Feb. 24 and Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2025
W2 from Wilty Terminal then to Barataria. The route will continue down Barataria to Estelle onto its normal route. The last pick-up for Walkertown Terminal will be on Barataria at 10th Steet. W2 from Estelle will take a detour to the Westbank Expressway. Parish officials said the last pick-up for Walkertown Terminal will be on Barataria at Westbank Expressway.

W2 will detour from the Wilty Terminal to Tulane at Loyola. Parish officials said the last drop-off and pick-up will be Tulane at Loyola. W2 will then make its way back to the CCC Bridge, going toward the Westbank, then continue on its normal route.
