By rssfeeds-admin MONROE, La. (KTVE/KARD) — On Sunday, February 16, 2025, just before 12:30 PM, the Ouachita Parish Fire Department responded to a house fire on Marion Street in Monroe, La. According to authorities, a 60-year-old male was pronounced deceased as a result of the fire.
Authorities reported that an investigation has begun. No further information has been released.
While the investigation into what caused this fire is ongoing, we want to remind everyone that home heating safety should remain a priority with frigid temperatures being felt, once again, across Louisiana.
