Suspect sought in armed robbery, home invasion by Shreveport police
SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS)—Shreveport police are asking the community to help them locate one of two armed robbery suspects.

Police say the incident occurred on February 1 in the 2700 block of Rosemont Street around 7:15 p.m. The victim told police that he answered a knock on his carport door. Standing at the door was a Black male wearing a hoodie and standing with his hands behind his back. They engaged in a brief conversation before another unknown male approached from the west side of the home armed with a handgun and struck the victim in the face.

Both suspects reportedly forced their way into the victim’s home and stole multiple items before fleeing.

SPD investigators identified one suspect as Roderick Vinson and secured a warrant for his arrest on one count of home invasion.
