Farmersville city manager resigns after less than 1 year

FARMERSVILLE, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) — The new Farmersville City Manager has resigned after less than a year in the position.

The City of Farmersville announced the resignation of Michael Schulte from his roles as City Attorney and City Manager on Thursday.

According to city staff, Police Chief Jay Brock will serve as interim City Manager. He will be responsible for planning, organizing and directing all municipal activities within the city.

Before Schulte, the last city manager to serve Farmersville was Jennifer Gomez. She served Farmersville for six years before accepting a position with the City of Visalia.
