TANGIPAHOA PARISH, La. (WGNO) — Three people have been arrested following a drug bust that happened in Tangipahoa Parish on Friday, Feb. 7.
According to the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office, reports of suspicious activity led to deputies holding a surveillance operation, during which, they allegedly saw a suspect weighing and packaging marijuana by a car.
Deputies then did a traffic stop and reportedly found marijuana, a scale, pills and firearms in two different vehicles.
Later, a search warrant was executed at an apartment associated with one of the suspects, 26-year-old Melvin Felder. Deputies say there, they found more marijuana, pills and guns, including an AK-47-style rifle.
Felder, as well as 33-year-old Jordan Pocorobba and 30-year-old Deandre Wheeler, were all booked in connection to the case, and face the following charges.
