“It is going to be a long week with three games in six days,” LSUA head coach Billy Perkins said. “It is going to be tough because Xavier is at the top of the conference and has only lost one game. They are fast and physical. OLLU is going to be motivated because they are trying to get to the tournament, and we must be ready for them and keep them off the boards. Finally, we end with TAMUSA, which has become one of the best teams in the conference and has shown they can score a lot of points, so we must have a good defensive game and be ready to push the tempo.”
The Generals (19-5, 16-4 RRAC) enter the week after consecutive wins over North American University, 69-58, and Huston-Tillotson, 54-49.

Our Lady of the Lake enters the week at 8-15 overall and 6-14 in RRAC play, sitting two games out of the eighth seed for the conference tournament. The Saints average 60.7 points per game while shooting 38.1 percent from the field. Julia Plata leads OLLU with 15.5 points per game, followed by Carlea Owens with 13.5 points.
