Goff, a junior power forward from Atlanta, Louisiana, has now claimed an RRAC weekly accolade in each of the four months so far in 2024-25 with three offensive honors (November 18, December 23, February 10) and one defensive selection (January 27). The now six-time weekly award winner has now pulled off Herculean-type performances in back-to-back seasons at Texas A&M-Texarkana, making her RRAC debut last season by dropping 34 points and splashing a game-winning three-pointer as time expired to beat the Eagles in 2023-24 before exploding for season-highs of 31 points on 10 field goals to lead the Wildcats back from down 16 to win in 2024-25. The comeback was the club’s biggest of the year by four points (November 23 at North American) while she had as many points in the fourth quarter alone (13) than the entire TAMUT team (13). For the week, the former LSU Eunice Tiger led the Orange and Blue in free throw percentage (86.4%), three-point percentage (30%), points (27.0 / 54), free throws made (9.5 / 19), field goals (8.0 / 16), assists (3.5 / 7) and three-pointers (1.5 / 3) while also shooting 38.1% from the field as well as averaging 5.5 (11) rebounds per game.
Louviere, a senior right-handed pitcher from Opelousas, Louisiana, collected her second RRAC honor in as many seasons, also winning the recognition on April Fool’s Day (not a joke) of 2024. The former Angelina College Roadrunner took a perfect game into the fifth inning vs. Texas Wesleyan, retiring the first 13 batters in succession on her way to a two-hit, no walk, shutout masterclass in which she fanned a trio of Rams with a WHIP of 0.29.
Weinmunson, junior guard from Ponchatoula, Louisiana, set season-highs for both points (18) and field goals (7) in a 20-point win over Jarvis Christian before making a season-best five three-pointers at Texarkana. He led the Wildcats in field goal percentage (50%), three-point percentage (53.3%), points (17.5 / 35), field goals (6.5 / 13) and three-pointers (4.0 / 8) while also averaging 4.5 rebounds (9), 2.0 offensive rebounds (4) as well as 1.5 assists/steals (3).
