TERREBONNE PARISH, La. (WGNO) — The Coast Guard rescued three people after their boat capsized near Terrebonne Parish on Thursday, Feb. 13.
Coast Guard officials said watchstanders received a report from a fishing vessel’s emergency position-indicating radio 40 miles from Caillou Bay around 8:30 a.m.
They said a Coast Guard Cutter Yellowfin and an aircrew were then dispatched to the scene.
When crews arrived, Coast Guard officials said they found three people on a life raft and a partially submerged boat. Coast Guard crews then brought the three people onto the Yellowfin.
According to the Coast Guard, no injuries were reported.
