How you can send a Valentine gift to rescue kittens in Merced

MERCED, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Ready for Valentine’s Day? Have someone special in mind? What about a special feline friend? For less than $20, Merced SPCA is giving residents the chance to gift a sweet Valentine’s treat to kittens staying at the shelter.

Merced SPCA is inviting the community to donate $15 to send a “Valentine’s treat to one of our lovable animals.” The donation will give rescue kitties a sweet kitty basket with catnip, toys and other goodies.

According to Merced SPCA, donors just need to browse their website, pick one rescue animal, and email merced.spca@yahoo.com to let them know about the donation. In exchange, officials say donors will receive a picture of the kittens enjoying their gift. For more information, click here.
