Man arrested for burglarizing home of elderly Jackson resident

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police arrested a man for allegedly burglarizing the home of an elderly resident.

Detective Tommie Brown said officers arrested Coleman Jenkins, 32, around noon on Sunday, February 2. He was charged with house burglary.

According to Brown, Jenkins burglarized a home in the 1500 block of Schoolview Drive on December 14, 2024.
