CHUBBUCK — Bannock County Sheriff’s deputies and a Chubbuck Police officer were involved in a shooting incident at a house in Chubbuck on Thursday.
According to a news release from the sheriff’s office, the incident happened at 4463 Fox Court, near Cotant Park, just after 1 p.m.
The circumstances surrounding the incident are unclear, but a person was taken into custody and is getting treatment at Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello.
The area is secured and law enforcement, including the Critical Incident Task Force, are investigating the incident, according to the release.
Fox Court is currently blocked off by authorities. Authorities are asking the public to stay away from the scene.
