ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – High school students and their parents are invited to the Planning for College Seminar at McMurry University for free on Saturday, January 25.
The seminar begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 1:30 p.m. The information session is hosted by the Hispanic Leadership Council (HLC) at McMurry University at the Garrison Campus Center. Students who want to attend are asked to register at the HLC’s website.

Door prizes and free lunches will also be provided at the event. The sessions teach students about college admissions, financial aid, and scholarships. They’ll also hear from industry and college representatives and tour the McMurry campus.
