Summary: Humid start to the day, just as mentioned yesterday the cloud cover and even a soggy, wet start for those to the southeast. For us quite a different story, humid out ahead of the front with a cold front on our doorstep. Patchy fog will be possible for isolated areas in the north east (north of I-20). Temperatures today will be slightly cooler than yesterday and below average. Temperatures, winds and cloud cover increase through Friday before the Arctic cold front arrives. Here’s what we know: Temperatures will tumble following the Arctic front, below average temperatures will remain in place at least through the halfway point of next week. Highs likely in the 30’s-20’s with lows in the 10’s. Winds chills will bring possible single-digit feels-like temperatures to the region. We continue to watch as models today trend colder and bring in a chance for winter precipitation. Trends look more likely with last night’s model runs but this morning have backed off slightly once again but keep a glimpse of a chance through next week. Still more details to fine-tune before mid range and short range models bring more detailed information. One thing we should prepare for, the pipe-bursting COLD.
Today: Sunny, humid start with a few upper level clouds with slightly below average temperatures. High Temperature: 55° Winds: NNW 5 MPH
Tonight: Mostly clear, calm night ahead. Low Temperature: 33° Winds: SW 5 MPH
