At approximately 6:00 p.m. on December 19, fire crews responded to a single-family home on the 5200 block of Taos Drive, where the house was engulfed in flames. The firefighters quickly took action to extinguish the fire while other teams worked to prevent it from spreading to nearby homes.
The residents were able to evacuate safely. The cause was a knocked-over propane heater, and the estimated damages totaled $50,000.
