Crime Reports: Victim attacked with bear spray in Abilene

600 block of Redwood Drive – Burglary of Vehicle
Two firearms were reported stolen from a vehicle.

5400 block of Encino Road – Theft of Property
Two cell phones and a tablet were reported stolen.

600 block of Redwood Drive – Burglary of Vehicle
A firearm worth $400 was reported stolen.

3300 block of Sherry Lane – Assault
A victim reported a known suspect sprayed them with “bear spray”

1200 block of Ross Avenue – Assault
A victim reported she was assaulted by her husband in south Abilene.

2500 block of Campus Court – Theft of Service
Law enforcement stopped a vehicle in another jurisdiction that was connected to an investigation in Abilene.

4500 block of Southwest Drive – Warrant
Tools worth $157 were reported stolen.

900 block of Westwood Drive – Fraudulent Use/Possession of Identifying Information
Police took a report in reference to identity theft.

1000 block of S 10th Street – Burglary of Building
Jewelry, a generator, a paint sprayer, and multiple space heaters were reported stolen from a vacant house.

4500 block of Southwest Drive – Theft of Property
A suspect was arrested for theft in south Abilene.

400 block of Kirkwood Street – Theft of Service
Police took a report in reference to theft.

600 block of Arnold Boulevard – Criminal Mischief
A south Abilene store reported a suspect damaged a door.

800 block of S Treadaway Boulevard – Assault
A report for assault was taken in south Abilene.

4300 block of Sayles Boulevard – Assault Family Violence
A report for assault was taken in south Abilene. A 42-year-old suspect was arrested.

1700 block of N 12th Street – Assault
A victim was assaulted by a known suspect in north Abilene.
