KTAB Santa’s Helpers collecting toys at Walmart to spread holiday cheer

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – On Christmas morning, millions of kids worldwide will excitedly open their gifts, surrounded by friends and family. However, for some, there may not be a brightly wrapped present under the tree. That’s where KTAB’s Santa’s Helpers step in to make a difference in the lives of others. We will be collecting toys for the children of Big Country at Walmart on Southwest Drive this Friday. Are you willing to answer the call?

During this month, we have gathered toys from generous members of our community, affectionately known as ‘Santa’s Helpers.’ Our final collection will take place on Friday, December 13, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The KTAB crew, including members from production, sales, and the newsroom, will collect toys for Santa’s Helpers at the Walmart on Southwest Drive.

After the toys are collected, they will be taken to the following non-profits and then delivered to the families.
