They recently completed a year of remodeling their facilities on Williams Boulevard.
Whether you speak Spanish or English, the Mendoza Medical Clinic speaks volumes with the way they care.
A patient named Loren said, “I am bilingual, but there are many in the community that don’t speak English, so it is very helpful to come to your medical provider knowing and having peace of mind that they are fluent in Spanish, so that’s an added plus. It is wonderful,” she said.
Dr. Roberto Clemente Mendoza started Mendoza Medical Clinic with Spanish speakers in mind.
“He wanted to be an advocate and a voice for his community,” Peggy Mendoza said about her father Roberto Mendoza.
“He passed away 13 years ago, but we as a family made the decision that his legacy and what he did was important to keep going,” she said.
It is important that after they recently remodeled that with its new look that it still has a family feel.
“We’ve got new sewer pipes, new walls, all new electric, a new gas line for generators during hurricanes, and we don’t want it to feel like a hospital. We want people to feel comfortable coming to the doctor,” Peggy Mendoza said.
They plan on opening a med-spa later on in 2025.
Mendoza Medical Clinic first started as just pediatric care, but now they are primary care for families, kids and adults.
