Qvest Names Jens Miedek Senior Vice President of Sales

Qvest, a provider of innovation, consulting and technology implementation services, has appointed Jens Miedek as senior vice president of sales for media and entertainment, giving him responsibility for expanding the company’s sales organization and helping drive growth in new markets.

The company said Miedek will focus on go-to-market strategy across its media-focused business, along with existing and new customer relationships, customer segments, order intake and revenue.

Qvest chief executive Thorsten Sauer said Miedek’s international sales background and experience building global sales structures will help the company turn its capabilities into clearer offerings for customers.

“Qvest has a broad portfolio of services and strong capabilities across different markets and regions. The key is to translate these into clear and relevant offerings for our customers. Jens brings the international sales experience and strategic perspective on scalable structures that will help us move forward in this area,” said Thorsten Sauer, Qvest chief executive.

Miedek said the company’s global delivery footprint and media supply chain expertise make it stand out in the media systems integration market.

Before joining Qvest, Miedek was executive director of global sales. His background also includes 16 years at Riedel Communications and roles at Eplan Software & Service and Kubota Brabender Technology.
