By RSSFeeds Administrator Zixi and Kiloview have partnered to bring broadcast-grade IP video workflows to live production and contribution, starting with native Zixi protocol support on Kiloview’s D350 decoder.
Kiloview said the new support is available now through a firmware update and can be applied to existing D350 units.
The companies said the move responds to demand from broadcasters and media organizations for IP infrastructure that can work across different network conditions without extra hardware or protocol conversion.
Zixi said its protocol is widely used in broadcast contribution workflows where network stability can be uncertain.
The companies said the D350 can now handle multiple protocols, which they said may reduce hardware needs and simplify contribution and monitoring setups.
They also said the update is designed to fit into existing broadcast contribution pipelines without requiring changes to upstream or downstream systems.
The partnership is aimed at live sports, remote production, news contribution and hybrid IP and broadcast environments.

The companies said they plan further integration and joint go-to-market work.
The partnership will be shown at IBC 2026 in Amsterdam, Sept. 11-14. Kiloview will demonstrate the Zixi-enabled D350 at Stand 7.A47, and Zixi will exhibit at Stand 5.A76.
