By RSSFeeds Administrator The Baxter County Sheriff’s Office is notifying the public that a new sex offender registered with the Sheriff’s Office after having plead no contest to sexual assault charges in court Tuesday.
56-year-old Alice Mclean has an address at 230 Magness Drive in Gassville.
Mclean plead No Contest to three counts of sexual assault in the second degree and was placed on ten years probation together with an assessment of $2,755.00 in fines, court costs, and fees. No additional information is available for release due to the sealing of the probable cause affidavit by the court.
Mclean has not yet been assigned a community Risk Level by Arkansas the Sex Offender Community Notification Assessment.
Mclean is not wanted by law enforcement at this time. This notification is not intended to increase fear; rather it is our belief that an informed public is a safer public. This information cannot be used to threaten, intimidate, or harass Registered Sex Offenders. Citizen abuse will not be tolerated. Such abuse could potentially end law enforcement’s ability to do community notification.
